The’G’ stands for gaming. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G is almost similar to Snapdragon 730, but it’s better optimized for gaming. The 730G integrates “Snapdragon Elite Gaming” suite that enables it to render relatively better graphics (Vulkan 1.1), support smoother gameplay, drive powerful wireless audio while gaming, and more.

The 730G also drive comparatively higher resolution displays (QHD+ vs Full HD+).

So basically for consumers who aren’t interested in high-end gaming, the two chips should be equivalent.

The handset includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, Samsung Pay, and runs the latest One UI software.
